Sinking in the tub

Owen likes his baths. He likes to slowly creep as low in the water as he can. I don’t think its accidental, he is purposely doing this. Here is is getting cozy and putting his feet up:

He’s getting really good at sitting up.  One of his favorite toys right now is a baseball tee.  Eventually he can use the toy bat to practice swinging, though I bet the one thing it won’t be hitting is the ball.  Right now he just wants to bite the ball.

Then he gets all introspective and wants to stop the pictures:

A few pictures with the new camera.  He’s finally outgrown his jacket, which is a shame as the new on is nowhere near as cute as the blue and brown stripe one.

6 Month Photo Shoot

We (as in Gretchen) made a little photo studio out of the kitchen table and a throw blanket taped to the wall.  Steve came up a few times to help get Owen to smile.  He’s in the shirt from the 3 month photos, barely fits but looks cute with the camo corduroys.  I changed to a few other outfits too.  More photos are on the “Owen” tab in the 6 month album.

To compare October '08 versus 'February 09:

November '08 versus February '09 (only November pic in the shirt, he spit up right after the first shot).  Yes, now realizing how short the sleeves are.

Steve's Best Outfit Yet

Steve dresses Owen in the morning and does a great job.  I totally wasn’t expecting this.  I found the pants hanging last week, realized they were 3-6 months and tossed them in the pants draw hoping to get a few wearings out of them.  As he was out of clean knit pants (which are looking more like shorts these days) he pulled these out and even tried to adjust the waist on them.  These pants will last a while still.  He’s had the little stinker onesie for a while, got it back when he would pass gas all the time when he was brand new.  He’s grumpy as he saw me take a bottle out to warm it and he wants it now.

And a few with the Pepe-le-pue he got for Valentine’s Day from Grandma.
