Pictures and not playing baseball

I picked Owen up from daycare and he had a messy diaper that day. I forgot to restock spare clothes, so he got borrowed clothes from the center. A few sizes too big. He didn't seem to mind and thought it was silly. The shorts are 3T, not sure on the shirt.

Didn't seem to prevent him from making a mess when he got home either:

A friend at work told me about the World War I Memorial Park in North Attleboro. Owen and I went to feed the animals and then walk around the garden. These pictures are on some butterfly benches:

And then took my new favorite picture:

The park is awesome. You can bring your own carrots and apples to feed sheep, goats, a horse, pigs, donkeys, miniature horse, and llamas. There is a butterfly garden, a huge tube slide, great playground, and they are putting in a beach area.

On the 27th, we got Owen ready to go to a Gaelic Storm concert (in the same outfit he wore months ago, these are magic pants!). Looked in the living room and he was sitting in his baseball toy. There are two knobby figures he's sitting on.

These pictures are from the 28th, getting ready to go feed the animals again:

And one last wearing before it gets too cold of my favorite summer outfit. He wore it to daycare so his teachers could see it:

Trip to Central Park Zoo

We went down to visit Gaelen this weekend. It was raining the whole time. We still went to Central Park Zoo. The polar bear put on quite a show for the few of us visiting the zoo that day. We'll definitely come back here, but when it's nicer out. The little Children's Zoo had some fun climbing structures Owen will love when he's older. We skipped the carousel, maybe next time.

Checking out the polar bear:

Then we went around the corner and saw this!

The polar bear was leaning against the rocks scratching its back, with its paws on the window. Of course we got more pictures:

We also checked out the penguins and a few other animals:

Also, a quick stop at the ferris wheel at Toys'R'Us. Luckily he isn't old enough to realize he was in a Barbie car, but he did look longingly at the Little People bus in front of us.

It stopped raining that night and Gaelen took us for a long walk to get Vietnamese sandwiches only to find the place closed. We got a quick Mexican dinner instead. There was an awesome view though of Manhattan from Sunset Park on the way, even with the clouds. Saturday was less rainy so we went over to Battery Park and also took the Staten Island ferry before meeting up with Gaelen and getting some Slovakian food (better than the Mexican food the night before).
